The School of Arts Theater Department puts on plays every year and GP3 Creative was tasked with creating the posters to accompany the plays for the season. All posters are released simultaneously to help build excitement for the upcoming season.
After much research regarding previous iterations of plays put on by others we sought to utilized custom flat artwork using the university’s color palette to maintain brand unity. Although each piece was created based on the play itself we tied them all together with a grunge background. The posters received wide praise from both the University’s Design Department and Theater Arts Department. Additionally, the campaign won GDUSA’s American Design Award for Poster Design.
