In the beginning Next Level Fitness’ niche was in-house personal training. Upon expanding into their first studio we provided a brand image. Owner, Micah Logan, had lofty goals for the brand expanding it into several related businesses, with logos and brands GP3 Creative designed. The ongoing challenge was to create a foundation that would allow subsequent brands to be created that would show its part of an umbrella corporation but solvent enough to stand and grow on its own.
In its early stages the brand utilized yellow as a differentiator against a sea of red fitness businesses. The yellow intentionally alluded to the newfound vitality NLF clients received. As the business expanded we continually improved the core brand logo so it could be adaptable to new divisions and services while maintaining its visual foundations.
We expanded the color palette beyond the core yellow to include other vitalizing colors. Brands were given a classification system to determine the direction for logo design. Fitness related brands utilized either branding elements or colors from the main NLF logo. Brands that deviated from the NLF brand where given their own brand image entirely. We’ve collaborated to create marketing campaigns and subsequent collateral that has propelled the brand perception from in-house to an elite training facility. They have a flagship location and are now the trainers in various luxury apartments. By handling all collateral, signage, product design and brand strategy NLF has won numerous awards and maintains a 5-star rating on Google.
Being the agency of choice has allowed us to control the growth and direction of the brand. NLF has grown from a start up to a multi award-winning studio with multiple brands currently valued at $500K.
